Soldier's chorus

Soldier's chorus

The name “soldier’s chorus” comes from Hamilton’s line in TWWWE, “Laurens leads a soldier’s chorus on the other side.” It’s the “wh-wh-wo-o-oah” that Laurens starts in “My Shot.” It mostly comes back in the first act, but also starts off the second act before Jefferson enters in “What’d I Miss?” It comes back on a xylophone (?) to haunt Aaron Burr as he brings us into “The World Was Wide Enough.” Source
